1973 Mercury Cougar Scale Model Car

1/25 scale AMT/ERTL 1973 Mercury Cougar model kitDay 2 - June 8, 2007

For several days, I looked over the pieces and other items in the AMT/ERTL 1/25 scale 1973 Mercury Cougar plastic model kit. I won through an online auction Web site and await arrival of a 1973 Lincoln-Mercury showroom brochure which I know has pictures of the vehicle in the colors (exterior and interior) I plan to paint it. I plan to begin assembly right away, but am patient.

I also bookmarked via an Internet browser software program, three more actual 1973 Mercury Cougars listed on an online auction Web site for possible reference in building the model. The auction Web pages contain many photographs of the actual vehicle (actually, all four are Cougar convertibles) which should be useful especially since I do not own or know someone who owns a 1973 Mercury Cougar.
