1973 Mercury Cougar Scale Model Car

BodyDay 11 -
June 24, 2007

I decided to paint the model exterior white and the interior black and white, as issued by the factory.

Today I painted the body silver in an effort to help the white paint cover areas such as in door lines better when it is painted. I also painted the inside of the body white which I am going to let dry.

I also began painting the interior pieces. The front seats were painted white. I also painted the dashboard and steering wheel semi-flat black.

The other interior piece is a bit tricky to paint because some areas are supposed to be black and others white. The piece was painted silver first. Then, I painted the floor and other areas semi-flat black. I am going to wait for this interior piece to dry completely before masking the semi-flat black areas and painting the rest white.
